The Company's course through time

Agamemnon Pittenis begins a small workshop for the production of traditional salad in Kozani, having managed to create his own recipes.

The workshop is officially transferred to a new space, 150 sq.m.

Demand for products has culminated in the area. The craft is transferred to new facilities, 300 sqm, in Koila Kozani. The first out -of -town routes begin, with the prefectures of Western Macedonia.

Customers are constantly expanding, thanks to the reliability of the products, but also to build strong personal relationships with consumers. The family -run business are the two largest sons of the founder, Dimitrios and Nikolaos.

The last two sons are added to the company's potential. Andreas and Stylianos. The company is already operating in a state -of -the -art dishes, 14,000 sqm, with 3,000sqm building facilities. Production includes new salad recipes, as well as new product series.

Agamemnon Pittenis retire, now having the four sons, worthy of his work at the helm of the business.

A. Pyreni Bros SA is certified by ISO and HACCP for the first time. The first exports of products to Cyprus and Germany begin, while participating in large exhibitions of food abroad.

Production exceeds 100 product codes. A new headquarters in Tripoli, the Arkafood product trafficking company, is being organized, with an integrated distribution network and the wider Peloponnese.

Upgrading the movement of products in Central Macedonia, with the creation of a branch in Thessaloniki.

Spread in the Prefecture of Attica, with a new branch in Athens, to privately owned facilities of 1200 sqm, serving southern Greece and the Aegean islands.

The launch of a new range of food gourmet, even higher quality and nutritional value, Pitenis Premium. The patent, which concerns Kozani yolk, with extremely virgin Sitia olive oil, is guaranteed.

As part of its environmental culture, the company is equipping its facilities with photovoltaic systems and solar water heaters. In addition, through the sustainable cultivation of raw materials, systematic recycling as well as composting residues for reuse in the manufacture of feed, it continues to support the idea of Think Green.

Production now exceeds 200 product codes. The "Mr Menios" shop in Larissa is inaugurated.
